Today I searched in Google with the ‘ampminsure‘ keyword and I found a result which makes me stunned. Check the n0. 7th link. I found a site is using all the information from ampminsure and also using ampminsure template.
After reading many articles I came to know this is actually a hijacking website.
Yes AmPmInsure is Hijacked by SteadyEarning site and using all the articles of ampminsure.
See I am presenting these two sites’ snap shot, seeing both of the sites you will not find any difference. Steady Earning even uses the AmPmInsure logo. They have just changed the name written on logo.
AmPmInsure Site Screen Shot
SteadyEarning Site Screen Shot
If this type of crime is committed by any website and appears among the search results, then who will be the responsible Google or the site who are doing illegal activities ?
Ohhhh! again the same question arises on the google search engine developer, just as I mentioned in my last post.
I read some blog post about this lemme share with you….

I have some queries, can anyone explain… can google interpret the Spam site as the original and ampminsure with duplicate contents, is there any such possibility?
Site hijacking is an old problem in net world, still why google is not doing anything? In wht way Google is benefitting frm such an illegal act…

As far as Google is concerned, I don’t think that it will be a problem.
Say abc.com is the first site and xyz.com is the duplicate one. If abc.com was indexed prior to xyz.com (this is most likely) than, Google got all the data.
However, the original site abc.com may suffer for sometime as people may get into the duplicate site (BTW, the site is already down from seventh position).
In addition, Google is not benefiting from such an illegal act. Google can’t afford it.

Take a look at http://www.godtube.com/
What would you say about this hijacking!

Hi MrDoubt,
godtube.com is using the concept of youtube and to some extent it is using the template of youtube too. But godtube is not using the youtube data.
So you can’t really say that it is hijacking and youtube can’t blame godtube for anything.
If you compare ampminsure and Steady earning, you will see that Steady earning has actually hijacked and created a clone of ampminsure, where in if you properly follow godtube you’ll see that it is not a clone of youtube.

Hi Subikar,
It is more of an identity hijacking.
Business like You tube, do not simply run on available data – in the process they have created a huge brand image – that sells more than anything for them.
Every business model is different in its own – and so is hijacking.

I’m going to throw in my two cents by saying that Google’s not at fault for displaying duplicate content as their ultimate goal is to send users to THE MOST relevant page, not to discern whether or not the site is a carbon copy of another, just what is the most relevant… Because in all truth, they are two different sites (even if the changes are minor.)
Think about your default wordpress install, many people use just the default install (with default template) and post a few things. Based off of what you’re saying, a default wordpress installation should in the eyes of Google (and given a few slight changes), be considered a hijacked site.
Consider the fact that this article itself is probably reproduced in several different places across the internet. Now think about who sees these articles: Your visitors, their visitors, and other spiders. Visitors also create content like articles and comments. Google sees this and doesn’t care if the article originated from one place or another, just what is more relevant to a user’s search. There are, of course, other factors as well but that’s really the gist of what I wanted to say..
